Olivier Bazil is a senior advisor at Innesto Partners. 

Olivier Bazil brings over four decades of executive leadership and governance experience in global industrial groups. Having spent his entire career with Legrand, a world leader in electrical and digital building infrastructures, Olivier played a central role in shaping the company’s growth, international expansion, and operational excellence.

He joined Legrand in 1973 as Deputy Company Secretary, before being appointed Chief Financial Officer in 1979. He became a Director in 1989, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and a Member of the Executive Committee in 1994, and later served as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Operating Officer from 2000 to 2011. Throughout his tenure, Olivier contributed decisively to Legrand’s transformation into a global industry leader, driving strategic acquisitions, financial discipline, and sustainable value creation.

In addition to his executive career, Olivier has held several non-executive and advisory roles. He served as a Member of the Supervisory Board at Michelin, at Firmenich and at Vallourec and also as a Member of the Board of Directors at Legrand, where he sat on both the Strategy Committee and the Nominating and Compensation Committee until May 2025. His extensive experience across board governance, industrial operations, and international markets continues to inform his work as a trusted senior advisor.
